Hello Beautiful People of Grace!

Carey and I are so excited to finally be here in Texas!    We are delighted to join your fantastic church in doing life and ministry together.  I look forward to having folks over to the house and enjoying long laughs on the patio to late into the evening.  One of the greatest things we have noticed is what a fantastic church you have created. I love the name. I love your enthusiasm. I love your momentum to get things done. I love your hearts. I just love all of y'all!

As we journey together, let's pray for each other, let's get in the yoke and work together, and let's not let anything stop us from doing what God has called us to do in Texas and around the world.  One of the big things pastors often hear when they come to a new church is: We tried it and it didn't work.  I learned from a masterful pastor once that there are three reasons why things don't work out: 1.) It wasn't the right time to do it. 2.) Nobody wanted it at the time. 3.) It wasn't executed well.  Timing is sooooo important to the growth and health of a church.  Truthfully, there isn't too much of a difference between a small church and a big church.  The founding pastor of a 14,000 member mega-church once told me that the only difference between the two is timing of decisions.  They made the right decisions with the right people at the right time.  Now is the time!  Let's go for it!!!

See you at the grace place on Sunday!
